FutureResume.com, New Online Job Board, Offers Free Video Resume and Conferencing Capabilities for Job Seekers and Employers to Improve Recruiting :

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. "FutureResume.com changes all that by enhancing job seekers' paper resumes with one- to two-minute video resume introductions. Job seekers can either make the video introductions themselves at home based on our scripted questions, or come to our offices and have them produced professionally. That video introduction then accompanies the paper resume on the FutureResume.com job board to become the centerpiece of their job search with our employers and our recruiter network, plus they can send the link out to their own contacts. When employers see a video they like, if the candidate is local, they can schedule an in-person interview, or if the job seeker is out of the area, they can simply press a button to schedule a live video conference with the candidate, further reducing recruiting and hiring costs. In normal operation, job seekers will pay a small monthly fee ($14.95) to keep their resumes and video introductions active on the FutureResume.com job board. For the first six months, however, until January 1, 2009, resume and video posting on FutureResume.com will be free to job seekers. In addition, the online job board will make a one- to two-minute video introduction for any candidate scheduling a shoot at the studio in the office for only $99.95, and that will include a 12-month membership to the job board.

FutureResume.com will go live for job seeker resumes in July. The site will go live for employer job listings in August. During that time, job seeker resumes will be made available to the exclusive group of corporate partners of FutureResume.com as well as to the company's network of job recruiters. In August, employers can list their available jobs on the site at a cost of $299.00 per month, a reduced fee over most job boards.
